Accessibility Statement
This statement was last updated on [01/11/2025].
Maxlot Hotel (including our restaurant SEVEN) is committed to providing a website and digital services that are accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. This statement applies to www.maxlothotel.com and associated booking and reservation experiences.
What web accessibility is
An accessible website lets people with disabilities navigate, understand, and interact with content with the same—or similar—ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved through semantic structure, clear design, compatibility with assistive technologies (such as screen readers and voice control), and keyboard-friendly interactions.
Accessibility adjustments on this site
We aim to meet the WCAG 2.2 Level AA guidelines and have implemented the following measures:
-
Used the Wix Accessibility tools and manual reviews to identify and fix potential issues
-
Set the site language and reading order for assistive technologies
-
Structured pages with clear, semantic headings (H1–H3) and descriptive link text
-
Added alternative text to meaningful images; decorative images are marked to be ignored by screen readers
-
Ensured sufficient color contrast between text and background
-
Provided visible focus indicators for keyboard navigation and enabled “skip to content” where possible
-
Labeled form fields and provided error messages with instructions to correct them
-
Limited motion/animation and respect users’ “reduced motion” preferences
-
Ensured interactive elements are reachable and operable via keyboard
-
Tested common templates with screen readers (NVDA/VoiceOver) and keyboard-only navigation
-
Optimized for responsive use on mobile, tablet, and desktop
-
Provided text alternatives or summaries for PDFs or rich media where feasible
We will continue to audit and improve our site as content and standards evolve.
Declaration of partial compliance with the standard due to third-party content
Some parts of our experience rely on third-party services that we do not fully control. We monitor these and work with providers to improve accessibility, but they may not yet meet WCAG 2.2 AA in all areas. These include:
-
Booking engine / room availability and payment flows
-
Restaurant reservation tools for SEVEN
-
Embedded maps (location/directions)
-
Social media feeds and video players

If you encounter an accessibility barrier within these services, please let us know at (info@maxlothotel.com) and we will offer an accessible alternative (e.g., assisted booking by phone/email).
Compatibility with browsers and assistive technology
Our website is designed to be compatible with the latest versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox) and with current screen readers on desktop and mobile. Older browsers or devices may not provide the best experience.
